We thank God for them and strive to love more like them.
The modern holiday was first celebrated in 1907, when Anna Jarvis
held the first Mother’s Day service of worship at Andrews Methodist Episcopal Church in Grafton, West Virginia.] Andrew’s Methodist
Church now holds the International Mother’s Day Shrine. Her
campaign to make Mother’s Day a recognized holiday in the
United States began in 1905, the year her mother, Ann Reeves
Jarvis, died.

rebirth; a day for everyone to come together and celebrate life as
we know it!
Throughout the years and decades, there have been different
meanings, festivities, and representations of May Day. The
meaning of seasonal change has been the most significant one
amongst different countries.
