John Paul Henson (April 25, 1965 – February 14, 2014)

(USA today) – John Paul Henson followed his father, Muppets creator
Jim Henson, into puppeteering, and sadly, to an early death.

The younger Henson, 48, fell victim to a sudden heart attack Friday
at his home in Saugerties, N.Y.

John was the puppeteer behind the ogre Sweetums (below).

Sweetums is perhaps the most popular and well known of 
the Muppet monsters from The Muppet Show.

     
     Shirley Temple Black (April 23, 1928 – February 10, 2014)

Temple, the most famous child star of her time, died of natural causes on 
February 10 at her home in Woodside, California, surrounded by family
and caregivers.

Twins Lisa and Louise Burns, at age 12, played the Grady daughters in the
well-known Stanley Kubrick 1980 horror film  The Shining. The 46-year-old
sisters still take the time to recognize the role that made them famous. They
regularly appear at horror flick conventions. Lisa studied literature and Louise
became a microbiologist.
