Ding Dong School, known as "the nursery school of the air", was a half-hour
children’s television show which began November 24, 1952 on WNBQ-TV
(now WMAQ-TV) in Chicago, Illinois a few months before its four-year run
on NBC.

A precursor to both Sesame Street and Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, the
show was hosted live by “Miss Frances" (above). At one point it was the most
popular TV series aimed at preschoolers.

Buffalo Bob Smith& Howdy Doody

The children’s television program "Howdy Doody," hosted by Bob Smith, made
its debut on NBC-TV and aired until September 24, 1960. It was a pioneer in
children’s television programming and set the pattern for many similar shows.

Michael Paul "Mike" Lookinland

Mike is best known for playing the role of Bobby Brady on the ABC TV
series, The Brady Bunch from 1969-1974. He was a commercial actor
who had done around 30 commercials before being cast in the show.
