A CLASSIC CHRISTMAS MOVIE!
‘’EXPECTING’’ EPISODE AIRED ON THIS DAY IN 1952
During the second season of “I Love Lucy”, Lucy was pregnant with
her second child Desi Arnaz, Jr. and the pregnancy was incorporated
into the series storyline. During those days, CBS censors would not
allow the word “pregnant” to be used on the show, so “expecting”
was used instead.
