First issue
On December 17, 1892, Arthur Baldwin Turnure first published
a new magazine, dedicated to “the ceremonial side of life” and
targeted at “the sage as well as the debutante, men of affairs
as well as the belle.” A product of the Gilded Age, Vogue has
chronicled and influenced high society, fashion and culture
ever since.
The largest issue published by Vogue magazine was the
September 2012 edition featuring Lady Gaga in the cover,
which contained 900 pages.

Silver Screen was a monthly magazine focusing on the
film industry. It had its first issue in November 1930, and
continued publication through the beginning of 1977. It
contained reviews of the new releases in the film industry.
Jane Wyman (Sarah Jane Mayfield)

Jane Wyman received an Academy Award (1948),
four Golden Globe Awards (1948, 1950, 1951 and
1983) and nominations for two Primetime Emmy
Awards (1957 and 1959).
Wyman was the first wife of Hollywood actor and
the future 40th president of the United States,
Ronald Reagan.
