press release about their new song, referring to the
experience of creating the song as "emotional."

The remaining Beatles, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr have
completed the band’s final song, decades after their breakup
and the deaths of John Lennon and George Harrison.

The band announced the song, titled "Now and Then," will be
available worldwide Thursday, Nov. 2, paired with a re-release of
their very first single, "Love Me Do," which debuted in 1962.

"Now and Then" features vocals from Lennon as well as guitar
performed by Harrison, recorded six years before his 2001 death.

Marion Ross is best-known role is that of Marion Cunningham
on the ABC television sitcom Happy Days, on which she
starred from 1974 to 1984 and for which she received two
Primetime Emmy Award nominations.

Since the 1990s, Ross has been known for voice-over work on
animated television series, including King of the Hill and
SpongeBob SquarePants. 

Richard Roundtree is noted for his portrayal of private detective
John Shaft in the 1971 film Shaft, and its four sequels, released
between 1972 and 2019.

For his performance in the original film, Roundtree was nominated
for the Golden Globe Award for New Star of the Year – Actor in
1972.

Roundtree died of pancreatic cancer at his Los Angeles home
on October 24, at the age of 81.

WASHINGTON (TND) — Rock star and philanthropist Jon Bon
Jovi (61) has been named the 2024 "MusiCares" Person of the
Year for his efforts to establish a successful nonprofit that helps
people in need.

Bon Jovi, who is the lead singer of the band with the same name,
said a former member of The Beatles, Paul McCartney, told him
about the honor.

(AP) – Bobi, (above) the purebred Rafeiro do Alentejo from
Portugal who was the world’s oldest dog, has died.

Guinness World Records says Bobi died Saturday at his
home in Conqueiros, Portugal, after living for 31 years
and 165 days.

The organization cited Bobi’s owner, Leonel Costa (below)
as saying that he was never tied up or leashed during his 
life and as he got older, spent most of his time in the
backyard of his property hanging out with cats.
