Jim Davis is the cartoonist who created the lazy, sarcastic cat
"Garfield," one of the most widely distributed comics in history.

Garfield began syndication in 41 newspapers on June 19, 1978
and by 2008, it appeared in 2,580 newspapers and was read by
300 million readers every day.

LAKE CRYSTAL, Minn. (KARE) – A mechanic in Minnesota made
a long-lost discovery in an SUV while replacing the cooling fans
on an 11-year-old Ford. 

The repair shop owner, Chad Volk, found a wallet that a former
Ford  assembly worker lost over a decade ago.  

The musician, actor, film producer and Rolling Stones front
man Mick Jagger was born in Dartford, Kent, England on
July 26, 1943. He’s 82 years old today.

Charles (Chuck) Frank Mangione 
(November 29, 1940 – July 22, 2025) 

Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) — Chuck Mangione, a Grammy-winning
jazz musician best known for his 1978 hit single "Feels So Good,"
died Tuesday in his sleep at his Rochester home of natural
causes. He was 84 years old. 
   

Hogan died this morning after suffering a possible "cardiac arrest"
at his home in Clearwater, Florida.

The former WWE fighter was rumored to be unwell earlier this year, apparently suffering from neck problems.
