(FOX NEWS) – The Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA) reported on
Monday that 3-year-old Ziv Nitzan came across a 3,800-year-old Canaanite amulet back in March.

The Canaanites were the original inhabitants of the Levant and
were descended from Noah’s grandson Canaan, according to
the Old Testament.

Omer Nitzan, Ziv’s sister, said her family was walking along
Tel Azeka, a hill in the Judaean Foothills, when the 3-year-old
spotted the artifact. 

The area is the location of the ancient town of Azekah, which
is referenced in 1 Samuel 17:1 during a biblical battle between
David and Goliath.

Ziv Nitzan (center) was given a certificate of appreciation for
the discovery.

(FOX NEWS) – Actor Val Kilmer, who starred in many high-
profile films, including "Top Gun," "Batman Forever" and
"Tombstone," died Tuesday (April 1).

The New York Times reported that Kilmer died of pneumonia.

Kilmer, who played Tom "Iceman" Kazansky in the original
"Top Gun" in 1986, died in Los Angeles, according to his
daughter, Mercedes Kilmer. 

In 2015, Kilmer was diagnosed with throat cancer. He
subsequently underwent a tracheal procedure that
damaged his vocal cords, leaving him with severe
difficulty speaking. He also underwent chemotherapy
and two tracheotomies.

LOS ANGELES (TNND) — A Bible Robert Kardashian Sr. gave
his friend and client O.J. Simpson shortly after Simpson was
arrested in the mid-1990s recently sold at an auction for more
than $80,000.

According to Goldin Auctions, Kardashian signed the Bible 
and included a "heartfelt inscription" inside the book.

This book will help," Kardashian wrote. "God loves and he will speak to you with his words. Read this book everyday. God has a definite plan for your life. You are his child and he will use you again. I love you and God loves you."

Kardashian, who alongside Johnnie L. Cochran Jr., Peter Neufeld,
Robert Shapiro, and Robert Blasier, served as Simpson’s defense
team during the murder trial.
