Sharon Stone became well known for her role in the 1992 thriller Basic
Instinct with Michael Douglas. Despite initial critical negativity and public
protest, Basic Instinct became one of the most successful films financially
of the 1990s. Before fame, Stone quit school to become a fashion model
in New York City.

John Garfield (Jacob Julius Garfinkle) (March 4, 1913 – May 21, 1952)
Garfield earned Best Actor Oscar nominations for his roles in 1947’s Body and
Soul and 1938’s Four Daughters. His other notable films include Tortilla Flat in
1942 and The Sea Wolf in 1941. He also co-starred in the 1947 film, Gentleman’s Agreement, with Gregory Peck. He began his acting career performing on stage
for the American Laboratory Theater and Civic Repertory Theater. Long-term
heart problems led to his death at the age of 39.
GUITARIST MR. 335 IS 66 TODAY
Multiple Grammy Award-winning smooth jazz guitarist, Larry Carlton wrote
the theme song for the NBC-TV show Hill Street Blues (1981-1987). He has
played on records for many artists, including Billy Joel and almost always
plays a Gibson ES-335. Born in Torrance, California, Larry began playing
guitar at six years of age.
