Delmar Daves from a novel by Earl Hamner, Jr. (The Waltons).

it began October 1947, to NBC television on Thursday October 5, 1950
and ran till September 21, 1961. The show’s original host was comedian
Groucho Marx (of the Marx Brothers), with his announcer and assistant
George Fenneman.

Father Knows Best, originally a radio program in the 1940s, began a run on the
CBS television network on Sunday October 3, 1954 and ended on May 23 1960.

premiered on Sunday October 2, 1955 and ran till May 10, 1965 on the CBS
television network. Time magazine named the show one of “The 100 Best TV
Shows of All-Time”.

Actress Angie Dickinson has appeared in more than fifty films, including
Rio Bravo (1959), Ocean’s Eleven (1960), Dressed to Kill (1980), and
Pay It Forward (2000). She also starred as Sergeant Suzanne “ Pepper”
Anderson in the NBC-TV crime series Police Woman, from September
13, 1974 to March 29, 1978. She won a Golden Globe Award for Best
Actress-Drama Series for the show in 1975 and received Emmy Award
nominations in 1975, 1976, and 1977 for the series.
