The salvation Army is a charitable organization founded in 1865 in London by
one-time Methodist circuit–preacher William Booth. Originally known as the East
London Christian Mission, in 1878 Booth reorganized the mission, becoming its
first General and introducing the military structure which has been retained to
the present day. The current world leader of The Salvation Army is General
André Cox, who was elected by the High Council of The Salvation Army on
August 3, 2013.

Motown Records founder Berry Gordy Jr. is known for his production and
songwriting work with The Supremes and Stevie Wonder. He also worked
with The Jackson 5, The Four Tops, and Marvin Gaye. He dropped out of
high school and trained to be a professional boxer.

John H. Schnatter was born in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
Schnatter is founder, spokesman, and CEO of the pizza company Papa Johns,
which he founded in 1984. He invested in pizza-making equipment by selling
his 1972 Camaro Z28 (shown below).

Colonel Harland David Sanders

Sanders is best known for building his Kentucky Fried Chicken cafe into
a fast-food empire. He once worked as a farmer, salesman, steamboat
pilot, and railroad fireman.Colonel Sanders sold KFC to John Y. Brown
Jr., Jack Massey, and a group of investors for $2 million in 1964.
