George Roger Waters is 73 years old today.

Roger Waters was a bass player, composer, vocalist, front man and co-founder 
of the English rock band, Pink Floyd. The group is known for songs like "Shine
On You Crazy Diamond." He was once the chairman of the Cambridge Youth
Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament at age fifteen. His first solo album was
called The Body. Pink Floyd were inducted into the US Rock and Roll Hall of
Fame in 1996.

The funeral service at Graceland was followed by a ceremony and
burial. A motorcade of 14 white Cadillac’s with Elvis hearse driven
by Trent Webb lined the streets from Graceland to Forrest Hill
Cemetery.

A huge amount of flowers were left for The King after his funeral.

James Dean became the first actor to have received multiple
posthumous acting nominations. In 1999, the American Film
Institute ranked him the 18th best male movie star on their
AFI’s 100 Years…100 Stars list.
