Richard Lee Petty is a former NASCAR driver who raced in the Strictly Stock-
Grand National Era and the NASCAR Winston Cup Series. "The King", as he
is nicknamed, is most well known for winning the NASCAR Championship seven
times. Petty is a member of the inaugural class of the NASCAR Hall of Fame. He
was inducted into the Hall in 2010.

This is the Pontiac #43 in which Richard Petty won his 200th and final race
in 1984.

Father’s Day was founded in 1910 by Sonora Smart Dodd, born in Arkansas
from Spokane, who was also the driving force behind its establishment. It
was first celebrated in Spokane, Washington on June 19, 1910.
