BRUCE WILLIS IS 60 TODAY

Walter Bruce Willis was born in Idar-Oberstein, West Germany but
raised in New Jersey.

Willis won the Blockbuster Entertainment Award and the People’s Choice
Award for his role in the 1999 suspense film The Sixth Sense. His other
well-known films include the Die Hard series beginning with Die Hard in
1988.

Jean Harlow (Harlean Harlow Carpenter)
(March 3, 1911 – June 7, 1937)


Harlow’s first major appearance was in Hell’s Angels (1930), followed
by a series of critically unsuccessful films, before signing with Metro-
Goldwyn-Mayer
in 1932. She died during the filming of Saratoga in
1937 at the age of 26 from kidney  disease. The movie was completed
using doubles and released a little over a month after her death. The 
American Film Institute ranked her as the 22nd greatest female star in 
Hollywood history.

Clarence Linden "Buster" Crabbe II (February 7, 1908 – April 23, 1983)

 

Crabbe was originally an Olympic swimmer who competed in the 1928 and
1932 Olympic games, becoming USC’s first All-American. He later became
an actor and portrayed Tarzan and Flash Gordon. His other notable credits
include Jungle Man, Buck Rogers, and King of the Congo.
