(FOX NEWS) – Rob Reiner, 78, and his wife Michele Singer Reiner,
68, have died, according to Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass.

Rob Reiner was a film director, producer, screenwriter, actor, and
political activist.

“Personally, I am heartbroken by the tragic loss of Rob and his
wife Michele," Bass said.

Fox News Digital previously confirmed that two bodies were
found inside Reiner’s Brentwood home Sunday. Los Angeles
Fire Department officials responded to a home on the 200
block of Chadbourne Ave. at around 3:30 p.m.

Senior law enforcement officials report that both had stab
wounds, and their deaths are being investigated as apparent
homicides. Their bodies were reportedly found by their
daughter Romy.

George Harrison (25 February 1943 – 29 November 2001

On November 29, 2001, English musician and songwriter
George Harrison died of lung cancer that had spread to
his brain at the age of 58.

Harrison achieved global fame as a member of the Beatles
and went on to a successful solo career that included
frequent collaborations with many of the foremost
musicians of his generation.

The youngest member of the Beatles, Harrison was born
in Liverpool in 1943 and joined the group, then known as
the Quarrymen, when he was barely 15.
