William Goldwyn "Bill" Nunn III
(October 20, 1952 – September 24, 2016)

Nunn was a popular character known for his roles as
Radio Raheem in Spike Lee’s 1989 film Do the Right
Thing and Robbie Robertson in the Sam Raimi Spider-
Man film trilogy beginning in 2002. His wife Donna 
told the Associated Press that Nunn died Saturday 
after battling leukemia.

Michael Kirk Douglas is 72 today.

Michael Douglas studied drama at the University of California,
Santa Barbara. His role as flamboyant pianist Liberace in the
2013 HBO biopic Behind the Candelabra earned him an Emmy
Award.

Stephen Edwin King is 69 today.

Stephen King spent his childhood pouring over horror books,
comic books, and films, and he especially loved Tales from the
Crypt and Dracula. He graduated from the University of Maine
in 1970 with a Bachelor’s degree in English.

William James "Bill" Murray is 66 years old today.

In his youth, Bill Murry worked as a golf caddy to fund his
high school education. He began taking pre-med courses
at Regis University in Denver, Colorado but dropped out.

Sophia Loren  (Sofia Villani Scicolone) is 82 years young today.

Sophia Loren was a finalist for a beauty pageant in Naples at the age of
fourteen. She voiced the character Mama Topolino in the 2011 Disney
feature Cars 2 (below).

Adam West (William West Anderson) was born in
Walla Walla, Washington.

West is known for his lead role in ABC’s Batman series from
1966 to 1968, and has since returned to provide voices in
various animated superhero series.
