This song is the theme from James Clavell‘s 1967 film To Sir, with
Love
. It was written by Don Black and Mark London, husband of
Lulu’s longtime manager Marion Massey.To Sir, with Love stayed
in the number-one position for five weeks. The single ranked No.
1 in Billboard’s year-end chart.


Lulu Kennedy-Cairns (Marie McDonald McLaughlin Lawrie) will be 67
on November 3.

Thirty Years After Back to the Future, Lea Thompson Still Has The Prom Dress
Crispin Glover, Lea Thompson and Michael J. Fox from Back to the Future.


Lea Thompson was born in Rochester, Minnesota. She
turned 54 in May.
 

 

Thompson is best remembered for her role as Lorraine Baines in
the Back to the Future trilogy (1985, 1989 and 1990), According
to People magazine, 30 Years Later, Lea Thompson Still Has Her
Iconic Back to the Future Prom Dress.

Bela Lugosi (Béla Ferenc Dezső Blaskó) 
(October 20, 1882-August 16, 1956) 



The HungarianAmerican actor is famous for portraying Count
Dracula
in the original 1931 film and for his roles in various
other horror films. He dropped out of school when he was
twelve years old, and began appearing in Shakespeare
plays.

RELEASED ON THIS DAY IN 1962

The Four Seasons song “Big Girls Don’t Cry” hit number-
one on the Billboard Hot 100 on November 17, 1962, and,
like its predecessor "Sherry", spent five weeks in the top
position. The song also made it to number one, for three
weeks, on Billboard’s Rhythm and Blues survey.
