ACTOR FOUND DEAD AT 79

Alex Rocco (Alexander Federico Petricone)
(February 29, 1936 – July 18, 2015)

Character actor Alex Rocco, who played casino owner Moe Greene in
The Godfather” (1972) and appeared in dozens of other movies and
TV shows, died Saturday of cancer in Studio City, Calif.

Rocco most recently was one of the stars of the Starz cable channel’s
crime-drama series, Magic City. He was scheduled to star as Mr. Marino
in the Horror thriller film The Other.

Frank Sinatra and his bride Mia Farrow

Sinatra married actress Mia Farrow in Las Vegas when she was 21 and he was
50. They met on the set of Sinatra’s 1965 film, Von Ryan’s Express. The marriage
fell apart and the couple divorced 18 months later in 1968.

Richard Bernard "Red" Skelton (July 18, 1913 – September 17, 1997)

Skelton was known as a TV clown who portrayed many comical characters
such as Clem Kadiddlehopper and Freddie the Freeloader. He was a long-
time national radio and television star for 34 years. Following the death of
his father, Red first started work at the age of seven as a newspaper boy
and later auditioned at the age of 10 for a role in a medicine show.

Donald McNichol Sutherland was born in Canada

Sutherland is primarily known for portraying Hawkeye Pierce in the
1970 movie, M*A*S*H. He also starred in the 1978 version of Invasion
