The Blues Brothers is a musical comedy film directed by John Landis who In
1978, directed his first film for Universal Studios,National Lampoon’s Animal
House
. The Blues Brothers starred John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd  and
featured musical numbers by R&B and soul signers James Brown, Cab
Calloway,Aretha Franklin, and Ray Charles.The movie received  generally
good reviews and earned just under $5 million in its opening  weekend and
went on to gross $115.2 million worldwide.

MOVIE STAR RYAN DUNN DEAD AT 34

"Jackass" star Ryan Dunn died in a fiery car crash in Pennsylvania early
this morning.

According to TMZ, Dunn, 34, and an unidentified person both died in
the crash of a 2007 Porsche, which happened around 3 a.m. at Route
322 and New Street in West Goshen Township.

According to reports, the crash occurred when his car veered off the
roadway and burst into flames. Speed may have been a factor.

TMZ reports that Dunn was driving.

DRESS SELLS FOR $4.6 MILLION AT AUCTION

LOS ANGELES (Fox news)-The iconic dress worn by Marilyn Monroe in the film
"The Seven Year Itch"(above) reached a seven-figure sum at an auction of
actress Debbie Reynolds’ film memorabilia in Los Angeles.

The ivory-pleated outfit from Billy Wilder’s 1955 classic was sold Saturday to an unidentified telephone bidder for $4.6 million, more than twice the figure projected
by auctioneers at the Profiles In History house.

In 1942, while attending Van Nuys High School, Norma Jeane Mortenson
(Marilyn Monroe) began a relationship with a neighbor’s son, 21-year-old
Jim Dougherty. He had been a football star and student body president at
Van Nuys High School. The couple were soon married less than three
weeks after Norma Jeane’s sixteenth birthday. The marriage lasted until
June of 1946.
