While recuperating in the hospital, President Reagan received a get well
card sent from the White House staff.

Local award-winning journalist Mike Danahue has made known his
intensions to retire the 31st of May. He spent nearly 42 years at
CBS television affiliate KOIN-6 in Portland as a reporter and
news anchor.

We wish you the best Mike! May God bless you with many
enjoyable retirement years!
