SELMA, Ala. (TND) — U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland 
blasted legislation requiring voters to have a valid form of 
identification as “discriminatory, burdensome and
unnecessary" Sunday.

A mental evaluation, a screening for depression or
psychiatric illness, mental illness and anxiety is
missing from his latest medical exam.

President Biden appeared to mix up Ukraine and Gaza while talking about the war-torn regions in a bilateral Oval Office meeting with Italy’s prime minister Friday.

The President’s National Advisory Commission on Civil Disorders—known as the Kerner Commission—released
its report, condemning racism as the primary cause of
the recent surge of riots. Headed by Governor Otto
Kerner of Illinois, the 11-member commission was
appointed by President Lyndon B. Johnson in July
1967 to uncover the causes of urban riots and
recommend solutions.

The U.S. House of Representatives voted 11 articles of
impeachment against President Andrew Johnson, nine
of which cite Johnson’s removal of Secretary of War
Edwin M. Stanton, a violation of the Tenure of Office
Act. The House vote made President Johnson the first
