(Asbury Park Press) – The first car owned by Bruce Springsteen (above) is up for auction on eBay and the price is rocketing.
As of Wednesday, the bidding has roared through the $100,000 dollar mark for the ’57 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible.
The purchase will include the original vehicle registration, a temporary insurance card, the Allstate insurance card issued in Springsteen’s name and address and an 80 page book, “Out in the Street: Bruce Springsteen’s 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible.”
The car was put up for auction by Springsteen historian Michael Crain and was featured at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Annex in New York City from 2008 to 2010 and it was also at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland.

DEVELOPING: (FoxNews) – Influential singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen best known for his song “hallelujah” has died according to a statement posted on his Facebook page today.
The statement read, “It is with profound sorrow we report that legendary poet, songwriter and artist, Leonard Cohen has passed away,” “We have lost one of music’s most revered and prolific visionaries.”
According to the statement a memorial will take place in Los Angeles at a later date.
Entertainer “Weird Al” is known for his parodies of popular songs , like "Eat It," and "Like a Surgeon.” His career started with his favorite instrument the accordion after a door-to-door salesman offered his parents a choice between accordion lessons or guitar lessons. Besides being a songwriter, record producer/video director he has also written two children’s books…When I grow Up and My New Teacher and Me!
