Ray Charles Robinson Sr. 
(September 23, 1930 – June 10, 2004)

Singer, songwriter, pianist, and composer Ray Charles is regarded
as one of the most iconic and influential singers ever, and he was
often referred to by contemporaries as "The Genius". Among
friends and fellow musicians he preferred being called "Brother
Ray". Charles was blinded during childhood, possibly due to
glaucoma.

Charles pioneered the soul music genre during the 1950s by
combining blues, jazz, rhythm and blues, and gospel styles
into the music he recorded for Atlantic Records

Tom Jones (Sir Thomas Jones Woodward)

The singing career of Tom Jones began with a string of top-ten
hits in the mid-1960s. He has toured regularly, with appearances
in Las Vegas (1967–2011). Jones’s voice has been described by
AllMusic as a "full-throated, robust baritone"

Gladys Maria Knight is a singer/songwriter,actress,
businesswoman,  and author. A seven-time Grammy
Award–winner. Knight is known  for the hits she
recorded during the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s with       
her group The Pips, which also included her brother
Merald "Bubba" Knight and cousins William Guest
and Edward Patten.
       

Royal Crown Cola is a brand of cola invented by pharmacist Claud
A. Hatcher of Columbus, Georgia in 1905 and was originally created
for Cole-Hampton-Hatcher Grocery Store as an early generic brand,
to avoid the high cost of purchasing Coca-Cola syrup.

RC Cola is owned and distributed in the U.S. by Keurig Dr Pepper.
In the rest of the world, it is distributed by RC Cola International.

Claud Adkins Hatcher
(August 20, 1876 – December 31, 1933)

Based on outcry from parents who bought into what may have
started as an idle rumor, the FBI launched a formal investigation
in 1964 into the supposedly pornographic lyrics of the song
“Louie, Louie.” recorded by The Kingsmen.  That investigation
finally neared its conclusion on May 17, 1965, when the FBI
Laboratory declared the lyrics of “Louie Louie”, as sung by the
bands singer Jack Ely (below), to be officially … unintelligible.

Jack Brown Ely (September 11, 1943 – April 28, 2015)

Ely’s famously incoherent vocals were partly the result of his
braces and the rudimentary recording method. The one hour
session cost within $50. He left the band shortly after the 1963
