HENRY WINKLER IS 70 TODAY


Henry Franklin Winkler was born in New, York.

Winkler rose to popularity protraying The Fonz on Happy Days during the 1970s
on ABC television. He made his acting debut in his 8th grade school production
of Billy Budd, after which he earned his bachelor’s degree from Emerson College
in 1967 and graduated from Yale School of Drama in 1970.

CHRISTOPHER LLOYD 77 TODAY


Christopher Allen Lloyd was born in Stamford, Connecticut.

Actor Christopher Lloyd is best known for playing "Reverend" Jim
Ignatowski on the ABC television sitcom Taxi and Emmett "Doc"
Brown in the Back to the Future trilogy. His acting has earned him
an Independent Spirit Award and multiple Primetime Emmy Awards,
as well as nominations for Saturn Awards and a Daytime Emmy
Award. He began taking acting classes in New York City at the
age of 19. He debuted on Broadway in 1969 in the play Red,

LINDA LAVIN IS 78 YEARS YOUNG TODAY



Linda Lavin was born in Portland, Maine.

Television fans will remember Lavin as struggling waitress Alice in the CBS 
sitcom of the same title (1976-1985). She was born into a musical family and
began performing at age five.
