   Sophie Tucker (Sonya Kalish) (January 13, 1887 – February 9, 1966)

Tucker was a Russian-born American singer, comedian, actress, and radio
personality. She was known for her delivery of comical and sometimes risqué
songs, Sophie Tucker was one of the most popular entertainers in America
during the first half of the 20th century.


Sophie Tucker on her final network television appearance originally aired 
Oct. 1965 on The Ed Sullivan Show in color.

(June 2, 1924 – November 13, 2013)

(The Hollywood Reporter) – Al Ruscio, an often-seen character
actor who appeared on TV, in films and on stage for more than
a half-century, died Tuesday, according to his daughter Elizabeth.

His film résumé includes Fever Heat (1968), Any Which Way You
Can
(1980), The Hunter (1980), Jagged Edge (1985), Guilty by
Suspicion
(1991), The Silence of the Hams (1994) and The
Phantom
(1996).

Dreyfuss won the Academy Award for Best Actor in 1977 for his role

Jane Meadows (Jane Meadows Cotter) is a stage, film and television actress, as
as well as an author. She was a regular panelist on the original CBS version of 
I’ve Got a Secret (1952-1967) and an occasional panelist on the CBS game 
show What’s My Line? (1950-1967), along with her husband Steve Allen.

Growing up in China, Jane Meadows was forced to learn English after moving to
America in the early 1930s. She is the older sister of actress Audrey Meadows.
