Jack Benny (Benjamin Kubelsky)

                       (February 14, 1894 – December 26, 1974)

Benny had been a vaudeville performer before becoming
a national figure with The Jack Benny Program, a weekly
radio show that ran from 1932 to 1948 on NBC and from
1949 to 1955 on CBS.

Carol Elaine Channing was born in Seattle, Washington where her
father, George Channing was formerly the city editor of the ‘Seattle 
Star’. Channing is best known for her part in the Broadway musical
‘Hello Dolly’. She is the recipient of three Tony Awards (including
one for lifetime achievement), a Golden Globe Award and an Oscar
nomination. 

Barbara Rush played in many notable 50s films, including "When
Worlds Collide" and "It Came From Outer Space". Rush began her 
career on stage and it has always been a part of her professional
life.

In 1999, the American Film Institute named Dietrich the ninth-
greatest female star of all time. Before fame, she dreamed of
becoming a concert violinist.
