Aretha Franklin’s cover of Respect was a landmark for the feminist
movement, and is often considered as one of the best songs of the
R&B era, earning her two Grammy Awards in 1968 for "Best Rhythm
& Blues Recording" and "Best Rhythm & Blues Solo Vocal Performance,
Female", and was inducted in the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1987.

In 2002, the Library of Congress honored Franklin’s version by adding
it to the National Recording Registry. It was placed number five on
Rolling Stone Magazine’s list of The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. It
was also included in the list of Songs of the Century, by the Recording
Industry of America and the National Endowment for the Arts.

Aretha Louise Franklin will be 75 in March.

Peter Tork (Peter Halsten Thorkelson) was born in Washington, D.C.

Peter Tork was a guitarist, singer, and keyboardist, with the original 1960s pop
band The Monkees. Tork along with fellow band member Micky Dolenz still
perform on tours as The Monkees today. The versatile musician played banjo
on George Harrison’s album Wonderwall.

Jennifer Joanna Aniston was born in Sherman Oaks, California.

Her role as Rachel Green on Friends from 1994 to 2004 on NBC earned
her an Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Screen Actors Guild
Award. For her performance in the 2002 film The Good Girl, she received
a nomination for an Independent Spirit Award. She has also starred in such
films as  Bruce Almighty (2003), and Horrible Bosses (2011),

She worked as a telemarketer, waitress, and bike messenger to support
her acting career,

The single Long Tall Sally by Little Richard reached number one on the
Billboard rhythm and blues chart, staying at the top for six of 19 weeks,
while peaking at number six on the pop chart. It received the Cash Box
Triple Crown Award in 1956. It is #55 on Rolling Stone‘s list of The 500
Greatest Songs of All Time.

The song became one of Little Richards’ best-known hits and has
become a rock and roll standard covered by hundreds of artists,
including the Beatles and Elvis Presley.

Nicholas King "Nick" Nolte was born in Omaha, NE.

Nick Nolte was nominated for seven major awards and won a Golden Globe
Award for his portrayal of Tom Wingo in the 1991 film, The Prince of Tides.

Prior to his acting career, he worked as a model, and was featured on a
campaign with actress Sigourney Weaver.

He made his film debut as the Town Gang Leader in the 1972 film, Dirty
Little Billy.
