TV SERIES DEBUTED ON THIS DAY IN 1950

Robert Montgomery Presents is a dramatic television series which was produced
by NBC from January 30, 1950 until June 24, 1957. It was one of the top big-
budget “live” anthology series of “The Golden Age of Television”. The show
had several sponsors during its seven-year run, and the title was altered to
feature the sponsor, for example, Robert Montgomery Presents Your Lucky
Strike Theater
, and The Johnson’s Wax Program.

Marie Wilson

The TV version of “My Friend Irma” aired on CBS from January 1952 until
June 1954. It was the first series telecast from the CBS Television City facility
in
Hollywood. Marie Wilson portrayed the title character, Irma Peterson, on
radio, in two films and the television series.

Fenneman is most remembered as the announcer/sidekick for
Groucho Marx‘s comedy/quiz show vehicle You Bet Your Life
on NBC-TV from 1950 to 1961.

Michael Paul "Mike" Lookinland was born in Mount Pleasant, 
Utah.

Mile Lookinland is best known for playing the role of Bobby Brady
on the ABC television series, The Brady Bunch from 1969-1974.

Before fame he was a commercial actor who had done around 30
commercials before being cast in The Brady Bunch.
