Baseball Legend Hank Aaron Dies at 86

US baseball legend and civil rights icon Hank Aaron dies ...
Henry Louis Aaron (February 5, 1934 – January 22, 2021) 

 Nicknamed "Hammer" or "Hammerin’ Hank", was a professional
baseball right fielder who played 23 seasons in Major League
Baseball
from 1954 through 1976.

Considered one of the greatest baseball players in history, he
spent 21 seasons with the
Milwaukee /Atlanta Braves
in the
National League and two seasons with he Milwaukee Brewers
in the
American League.

At the time of his retirement, Aaron held most of the game’s key
career
power-hitting records. He broke the long-standing MLB
record
for career home runs held by Babe Ruth and remained
the career leader for 33 years, until
Barry Bonds surpassed his
famous total of 755 in 2007.

ACTION-COMEDY SERIES DEBUTED IN 1979

The Dukes of Hazzard (1979–1985) titles ...


On January 26, 1979, “The Dukes of Hazzard,” a television
comedy about two cousins in the rural South and their
souped-up 1969 Dodge Charger known as the General Lee,
debuted on CBS.

The show, which originally aired for seven seasons, centered
around cousins Bo Duke (John Schneider) and Luke Duke
(Tom Wopat) and their ongoing efforts to elude their nemeses,
the crooked county commissioner “Boss” Jefferson Davis Hogg
(Sorrell Booke) and the bumbling Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane
(James Best).

“The Dukes of Hazzard” was known for its car chases, stunts
and the General Lee.

Belushi was a comedian, actor and musician who was one
of seven
Saturday Night Live cast members of the first        
season on NBC.

During a preliminary hearing held in September 1985, two
Los Angeles pathologists testified that Belushi’s cause of
death was due to a drug overdose. He was 33.
