Michael Nesmith, a singer/guitarist for the Monkees,
has died. .

"I’m heartbroken," bandmate Micky Dolenz told Fox News in a
statement on Friday.  "I’ve lost a dear friend and partner. I’m so
grateful that we could spend the last couple of months together
doing what we loved best – singing, laughing, and doing shtick.
I’ll miss it all so much. Especially the shtick. Rest in peace, Nez.
All my love, Mick."

Rolling Stone reported the star passed away on Friday from
natural causes.

Gavan John O’Herlihy
(July 29, 1951 – September 15, 2021)

(Daily News) – Actor Gavan O’Herlihy, perhaps best
known for being forgotten as Chuck Cunningham
on the 1970s sitcom “Happy Days,” has died. 

Variety reports O’Herlihy’s brother confirmed his
sibling died last month in Bathe, England, but
gave no cause of death.

On November 10, 1969, “Sesame Street,” a pioneering TV
show that would teach generations of young children the
alphabet and how to count, made its broadcast debut.

The show is produced by Sesame Workshop (known as the
Children’s Television Workshop (CTW) until June 2000) and
was created by Joan Ganz Cooney and Lloyd Morrisett (below).

As of 2018, Sesame Street has won 189 Emmy Awards and 
13 Grammy Awards, more than any other children’s show.
