Robert Michael Nesmith

(FoxNews) – Michael Nesmith, a singer/guitarist for the Monkees,
has died. .

"I’m heartbroken," bandmate Micky Dolenz told Fox News in a
statement on Friday.  "I’ve lost a dear friend and partner. I’m so
grateful that we could spend the last couple of months together
doing what we loved best – singing, laughing, and doing shtick.
I’ll miss it all so much. Especially the shtick. Rest in peace, Nez.
All my love, Mick."

Rolling Stone reported the star passed away on Friday from
natural causes.

On November 21, 1980, 350 million people around the world tuned
in to CBS television’s popular primetime drama “Dallas” to find out 
who shot J.R. Ewing, the character fans loved to hate. J.R. had been
shot on the season-ending episode the previous March 21, which
now stands as one of television’s most famous cliffhangers. The
plot twist inspired widespread media coverage and left America wondering “Who shot J.R.?” for the next eight months. The
November 21 episode solved the mystery, identifying Kristin
Shepard, J.R.’s wife’s sister and his former mistress, as the
culprit.

Linda Evans is a actress known primarily for her roles on
television. In the 1960s she played Audra Barkley, the
daughter of Victoria Barkley (played by Barbara Stanwyck)
in the Western ABC television series The Big Valley (1965–
1969). She is best known for portraying Krystle Carrington
in the 1980s ABC primetime soap opera Dynasty, a role she
played from 1981 to 1989.

Gavan John O’Herlihy
(July 29, 1951 – September 15, 2021)

(Daily News) – Actor Gavan O’Herlihy, perhaps best
known for being forgotten as Chuck Cunningham
on the 1970s sitcom “Happy Days,” has died. 

Variety reports O’Herlihy’s brother confirmed his
sibling died last month in Bathe, England, but
gave no cause of death.

On November 10, 1969, “Sesame Street,” a pioneering TV
show that would teach generations of young children the
alphabet and how to count, made its broadcast debut.

The show is produced by Sesame Workshop (known as the
Children’s Television Workshop (CTW) until June 2000) and
was created by Joan Ganz Cooney and Lloyd Morrisett (below).

As of 2018, Sesame Street has won 189 Emmy Awards and 
13 Grammy Awards, more than any other children’s show.
