REMEMBERING DENNIS JAMES

James is best known for hosting the first network game show
Cash and Carry on the DuMont Network in 1946, the first to

Barbara Eden (Barbara Jean Morehead) is best known for starring 
in the title role on the NBC television
sitcom I Dream of Jeannie 
(1965-1970). At age 14, she began singing with local bands for $10
a night in local night clubs.

situation-comedy series Laverne & Shirley, (1976-1983) in the role of
Shirley Feeney
, and for her role as Laurie Henderson in the classic
1973 film American Graffiti. 
 


After graduating college,Williams debuted as an actress through a
variety of commercials for Foster Grant sunglasses.

VALERIE HARPER IS 74 TODAY

Valerie Harper is best remembered for her roles as Rhoda Morgenstern
in the 1970s CBS television series The Mary Tyler Moore Show (1970-
1977) and its spin-off, Rhoda (1974-1978) and later as Valerie Hogan
in Valerie on NBC/CBS (1986-1991).

Harper was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2009 and recent tests results
showed she has a rare type of incurable brain cancer. She is currently
undergoing chemotherapy to slow its progress.
