

The Marine Corps was founded November 10, 1775 to serve as an infantry unit aboard naval vessels and was responsible for the
security of the ship and its crew by conducting offensive and
defensive combat during boarding actions and defending the
ship’s officers from mutiny. As of 2017, the USMC has around
182,000 active duty members and some 38,500 personnel in
reserve.

Louis Jude Ferrigno Sr.
Famous bodybuilder Lou Ferrigno is known for playing The
Incredible Hulk on the TV series. His other notable films
include Sinbad of the Seven Seas and Hercules (below).
While in high school, he studied metal working. He became
a bodybuilder champion before pursuing a career in acting.
Due to ear infections suffered soon after birth, Ferrigno lost
75 to 80% of his hearing and has been using hearing aids
since the age of five.

George Alexander Trebek (July 22, 1940 – November 8, 2020)
(FoxNews) – “Jeopardy!” host Alex Trebek died early Sunday
after a battle with pancreatic cancer. The show made the
announcement of his death at his home where he was
surrounded by his family.
On March 6, 2019, Trebek announced that he had been
diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer.

Norman Lawrence Crosby (September 15, 1927 – November 7, 2020)
Norm Crosby was a comedian sometimes associated with the
Borscht Belt who often appeared on television in the 1970s. He
is known for his use of malapropisms and is often called “The
Master of Malaprop”. Crosby died of heart failure at his home
in Los Angeles, California.
