Dick Van Patten played Tom Bradford, the father on the ABC-TV sitcom EIGHT IS ENOUGH (1977 – 1981).
Van Patten co-founded a pet food company in 1989.

‘’DANDY DON’’ MEREDITH HAS DIED
Don Meredith was a former Dallas Cowboys
football star and one of the original members
of the MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL broadcast
team on ABC-TV. He reportedly died Sunday
after suffering a brain hemorrhage. Don was 72.

IT’S CATHY LEE CROSBY’S 64th BIRTHDAY
Actress Cathy Lee Crosby is known for her starring
role as WONDER WOMAN in the made-for-TV movie
on ABC. This was the year before Lynda Carter would
portray the comic book character in a weekly TV series.
Cathy also co-hosted the reality TV show on ABC,
THAT’S INCREDIBLE! from 1980 to 1984.
