Virginia Elizabeth "Geena" Davis  is an actress, film producer, writer, former fashion model, and a women’s Olympics archery team semi-finalist. She is known for her roles in The Fly (1986), Beetlejuice (1988), Thelma & Louise (1991), and The Accidental Tourist (1988), for which she won the 1988 Academy Award for Best Actress. In 2004, she won the Golden Globe award for Best Actress in a Television Series Drama for her role in Commander in Chief on ABC (2005 – 2006).

Jean Stapleton (born Jeanne Murray) is a character actress of stage, television, and film. Stapleton is best known for her portrayal of Edith Bunker , the long-suffering, yet devoted wife of Archie Bunker, played by Carroll O’Connor (above) and mother of Gloria Bunker Stivic, played by Sally Struthers, in the 1970’s sitcom All In the Family on CBS-TV. Stapleton was also seen as Edith Bunker in the All in the Family follow-up series
Archie Bunker’s Place. She left that show after one season.

Dolly Rebecca Parton , is a singer-songwriter, author, multi-instrumentalist, actress and philanthropist, best-known for her work in country music. In the four-and-a-half decades
since her national chard debut, she remains one of the most-successful female artists in the history of country music with twenty-five number-one singles, and a record forty-one
top-ten country albums. She has the distinction of having performed on a top-five hit in each of the last five decades and is tied with Reba Mc Entire as the only country artists with number- one singles in four consecutive decades. In 1967, country star Porter Wagner, seen above with Dolly, invited Parton to join him on his weekly syndicated
TV program The Porter Wagner Show,and also to become a part of his road show.

Tippi (Nathalie Kay) Hedren is an actress and former model. She is
primarily known her first big role in Alfred Hitchcock’s 1963 classic 
film The Birds.

The Goldbergs was originally a radio show on NBC from 1929 to
1946. The program made the switch to television as the first
sitcom. Both the radio and TV shows were devised by writer-
actress Gertrude Berg who played Molly Goldberg. The series 
ran on CBS-TV until 1951.
