FIRST ALBUM RELEASED IN THE US ON THIS DATE IN 1964

Introducing-the-Beatles
The Beatles album introducing…THE BEATLES was released in United States
by the Chicago based VEE-JAY label just ten days prior to the release of
MEET THE BEATLES! by Capital Records. After much legality, VEE-JAY was
allowed to sell their album until late 1964.

challenger Thomas E. Dewey. It was widely felt that Truman was going
to lose the election. As a result, the Chicago Tribune’s first edition ran
