JIMI HENDRIX WAS BORN ON THIS DATE IN 1942

The guitarist and singer-songwriter was considered
by many to be the greatest electric guitarist in the
history of rock music. Hendrix won numerous rock
music awards and was inducted into the Rock and
Roll Hall of Fame in 1992. He died in 1970.
