British and American peace negotiators met in Belgium where the
Treaty of Ghent was signed, thus officially ending the war.

The award went to  88-year-old Betty White, the former star of the NBC
sitcom Golden Girls which ran from 1985 to 1992.

forces near the end of World War ll. It took place
in the heavily forested Ardennes mountains in
Belgium.
