Barbara Feldon is a character actress of both stage and television who
is primarily known for the role of Agent 99 on the popular 1960s sitcom 
Get Smart on NBC and later CBS. Following her first work as a model,
Feldon’s break came in the form of a popular and much parodied TV
commercial (shown below) for "Top Brass," a hair pomade for men.

TERRENCE HOWARD IS 42 TODAY

Terrence Dashon Howard had his first  major film role in the 1995 filmed in 
Portland movie Mr. Holland’s Opus, which subsequently led to a number of roles 
in films. Howard broke into the mainstream with a succession of well-reviewed TV 
and film roles between 2004 and 2006. His roles in other movies includes Ray in  
2004, the 2005 Best Picture Oscar winner Crash, and The Brave One in 2007. He
also co-starred in the mega hit  Iron Man in 2008. In 20010 Howard joined the cast 
of the new Law & Order: Los Angeles on NBC.

The Small Fry Club, also known as Movies for Small Fry, was one of the earliest TV series made for children. It aired until June 15, 1951 on the DuMont Television Network  
and was hosted by "Big Brother Bob Emery" (shown below).The Small Fry Club originally aired weekly, but soon expanded to five days a week. According to television historians, it was possibly the first television series to air five days per week. Before it was on TV, the show got its start on radio, in Boston, Massachusetts.

Max Headroom (1987–1988) was a short-lived but ground-breaking British-
produced science fiction television series made for American TV. The series
was based on the  British TV pilot Max Headroom: 20 Minutes into the Future.
