EMANCIPATION PROCLAMATION SIGNED ON THIS DATE IN 1863
Above drawing depicts President Abraham Lincoln presenting the draft
of his proclamation to his Cabinet. In it Lincoln stated, “as a fit and
necessary military measure, on January 1, 1863, all persons held
as slaves in the Confederate States will thenceforward, and
forever, be free.”

Frank played Count Dracula in this 1979 American-
British horror film.
Frank Langella’s role as a devil worshipper in Roman
Polanski’s The Ninth Gate,1999.
Frank was Richard M. Nixon in Ron Howard’s 2008
film Frost/Nixon. He was also cast in the same role
for a stage production of Frost/Nixon in 2007.
