Louis Armstrong, who lead the Billboard Hot 100 with "Hello Dolly" in
1964, died of heart failure at the age of 69. His often played rendition
of "What A Wonderful World" reached #32 in 1988 when it was used
in the 1987 movie Good Morning, Vietnam starring Robin Williams. In
1990 Louis Armstrong was induced into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

THE BIKINI MADE ITS DEBUTE ON THIS DATE IN 1946
Micheline Bernardini is seen modeling the very first bikini in 1946. The two-
piece bathing suit, created by French engineer Louis Réard and fashion
designer Jacques Heim Louis Reard, made its debut during a fashion
show at the Molitor Pool in Paris.
