Mark David Chapman (pictured above in a recent mug shot) is the accused murderer
of former Beatle member John Lennon on December 8, 1980. The sentencing hearing
for Chapman took place on August 24, 1981. The judge ordered that Chapman should receive psychiatric treatment in prison and sentenced him to 20 years to life. Chapman
is currently imprisoned at the Attica Correctional Facility in Attica, New York. He has
been denied parole six times.

As far as I’m concerned, we shouldn’t even bother to take any time or effort to show the face of Mark Chapman.. It only perpetuates the notoriety this loser was trying to obtain by murdering one of the most profound and influential artists of our time. Your caption reads the “accused murderer” when it should read the “Convicted Murderer.”
