The family sitcom The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, created by Ozzie Nelson,
began on the CBS radio network on Sunday October 8, 1944 with the final show
airing on NBC Radio June 18, 1954. The Nelsons’ sons, David and Ricky, did not
join the cast until the radio show’s fifth year on February 20, 1949. Prior to that,
the two boys were played by professional actors. The original announcer of the
show was Jack Bailey (below). The music was by Billy May and Ozzie Nelson.

Sigourney Weaver (born Susan Alexandra Weaver ) is a actress best
known for her role of Ellen Ripley in the four Alien films. Other films with
Weaver include Ghostbusters (1984) and its sequel Ghostbusters ll
(1989) Gorillas in the Mist: The Story of Dian Fossey (1988), and
Working Girl (1988). Her most recent work was in James Cameron’s
Avatar (2009). Weaver has received three Academy Award nominations
and six Golden Globe Award nominations, two in 1988 (Best Actress
and Best Supporting Actress) for Gorillas in the Mist and Working Girl.
