Land of the Lost was a 1940s radio fantasy adventure, written and narrated by
pioneer radio commentator Isabel Manning Hewson (below). The show followed
the adventures of two children, Isabel and Billy, who traveled underwater with a
fish named Red Lantern. Hewson launched the series on Saturday October 9,
1943 on the ABC Blue network and aired till July 3, 1948. Art Carney was the
original voice of Red Lantern.
