SID CAESAR TURNED 90 TODAY
FIRST STAR TREK EPISODE ON THIS DAY IN 1966
The Sci-Fi franchise Star Trek, created by Gene Roddenberry, aired the
first season episode of Star Trek: The Original Series on NBC-TV entitled
"The Man Trap". It was written by George Clayton Johnson, and directed
by Marc Daniels.
After three seasons, NBC television canceled the show, and the last
original episode aired on June 3, 1969.

took the lives of Buddy Holly, the Big Bopper, Ritchie Valens and pilot Roger
Peterson a few miles north of Clear Lake, Iowa.

Anna Mary Robertson Moses (September 7, 1860 – December 13, 1961),
better known as "Grandma Moses", was a artist who painted rural
nostalgic scenes. She began her career in painting at the age of
76 and continued until her death at 101.
