Jamie Lee Curtis was born in Santa Monica, California, to actor Tony
Curtis and actress Janet Leigh.
Curtis’s film debut occurred in the 1978 John Carpenter horror film
Halloween which was very successful and is considered the highest
grossing independent film of its time, earning accolades as a classic
horror film. Her next film was the 1980 horror film The Fog, also by
Carpenter.

Harold Allen Ramis is a popular actor, director, and writer. He
was one of three screenwriters for the film National Lampoon’s
Animal House (1978). Ramis’s films have had an impact on many
comedians and comedy writers.

Art Ginsburg, commonly known as Mr. Food, was a television chef and best
selling author of cookbooks. He had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer
in 2011 and underwent treatments, including surgery, which had caused the
cancer to go into remission. However, it returned in October. He died at his
home that he shared with his wife Ethel in Weston, Florida. Ginsburg was
originally a butcher and ran his own catering business prior to work in
television. The series he founded is expected to continue with other
chefs as hosts.
