BROTHER OF RACING LEGEND HAS DIED

INDIANAPOLIS – Randy Earnhardt, one of four brothers of seven-time Cup
champion Dale Earnhardt Sr., has died. He was 60.

His nephew, Dale Earnhardt Jr., said in September that Randy had recently
been diagnosed with cancer.

His niece, Kelley Earnhardt Miller, tweeted Sunday morning asking people to
pray for the Earnhardt family following Randy Earnhardt’s death.

THE ‘IT’ GIRL WAS BORN ON THIS DAY IN 1905

    Clara Gordon Bow (July 29, 1905 – September 27, 1965)

Actress Clara Bow rose to stardom in silent films during the 1920s. She
came to personify the Roaring Twenties and is described as its leading
sex symbol.

She appeared in 46 silent films and 11 talkies, including hits such as
Mantrap (1926), It (1927) and Wings (1927). At the high point of her
career, she received more than 45,000 fan letters during the month
of January 1929. 

Bow retired from acting and became a rancher in Nevada. Her final
film, Hoop-La, was released in 1933. In September 1965, Bow died
of a heart attack at the age of 60.
