THE “BLONDE BOMBSHELL”
Jean Harlow (Harlean Harlow Carpenter)
(March 3, 1911 – June 7, 1937)
The platinum blonde actress was often paired with Clark Gable in films like
Dinner at Eight in 1933. She also appeared in Three Wise Girls (1931) and
The Beast of the City (1932). Jean died at the young age of 26 from kidney
failure.
GUITARIST MR. 335 IS 66 TODAY
Multiple Grammy Award-winning smooth jazz guitarist, Larry Carlton wrote
the theme song for the NBC-TV show Hill Street Blues (1981-1987). He has
played on records for many artists, including Billy Joel and almost always
plays a Gibson ES-335. Born in Torrance, California, Larry began playing
guitar at six years of age.
