Howard Andrew "Andy" Williams
(December 3, 1927 – September 25, 2012)
Andy Williams released seventeen Gold- and Platinum-certified
albums. He hosted The Andy Williams Show, a television variety
show, from 1962 to 1971 on NBC, and numerous TV specials.
Before fame, Andy and his brother performed on multiple radio
stations as The Williams Brothers (below).
The Moon River Theatre in Branson, Missouri is named after the
song he is most known for singing—Johnny Mercer and Henry
Mancini‘s "Moon River".
