Robert Conrad was born Conrad Robert Norton Falk in
Chicago, Illinois.

Conrad spent some time as a recording artist in his younger
years at Warner Bros. recording division. He suffered severe
nerve injuries following a head-on auto accident in 2003, which
left his right side partially paralyzed.

Buddy Holly and the Crickets began their one and only UK tour at London’s
Trocadero Club, playing 25 dates of two sets a night. It proved to be a major 
influence on the British rock scene.

"Best of My Love" was written by Don Henley, Glenn Frey, and J.D.
Souther. It was originally included on their 1974 album On the Border
and was the band’s first Billboard Hot 100 #1 single. It also topped the
easy listening chart for one week a month earlier. Billboard ranked it
as the No. 12 song for 1975.
