Pearl Mae Bailey (March 29, 1918 – August 17, 1990)
After appearing in vaudeville, Bailey made her Broadway debut
in St. Louis Woman in 1946. She won a Tony Award for the title
role in the all-black production of Hello, Dolly! in 1968.

Naked man, Pat McCormick, streaks across the set of “The Tonight
Show Starring Johnny Carson" in one of the funniest moments on
the late night show. Johnny was completely taken by surprise at
the sight of the 300lb McCormick running naked in front of the
studio audience.
Elvis Presley recorded "Burning Love” at the RCA Studios in Hollywood,
California. It would turn out to be his last major hit.
